What is a type of meeting and why should I use it?

When creating a meeting, meeting types can save you time. You can create templates for recurring board meetings.

A meeting type is a template with standard calendar items, participants (groups), a standard location and a standard organiser. You use a meeting type when you organize recurring meetings (e.g. a supervisory board, MT, marketing or team meeting).

You can then use this meeting type to save time when creating a meeting appointment. Much of the information is already known based on the type of meeting.

Tip: Use as many meeting types as possible. This is useful to keep an overview of all the meetings you have planned. By applying filters you can easily filter according to the type of meeting. This displays all your meetings neatly in this type of meeting. It is also possible for participants to filter tasks, decisions and minutes per meeting type.
